Hi, we're Ali and Nicola, lifelong friends and the proud founders of The Speech Collab.  We are both Certified Practicing Speech Pathologists, members of Speech Pathology Australia, and experienced Primary School Educators who love all things learning. 

Between us, we’ve spent many years supporting students in classrooms, private and public speech pathology clinics and raising three children each; experiences that have shaped the way we connect with children and understand their needs. Here is a little more about us.

Hi, I'm Ali!

I am a dedicated speech pathologist and teacher with a genuine interest in supporting children with stuttering, speech sounds, early and school aged language and literacy. I bring a strong background in education, with 16 years experience as a primary school teacher, and a deep understanding of child development. 

I am known for my warm and caring nature, which helps me build strong connections with children and their families. This allows me to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together to achieve meaningful, personalised goals. I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Speech Pathology. 

Hi, I'm Nicola!

I am an enthusiastic and nurturing speech pathologist and teacher who has a passion for speech sounds, school aged language, and literacy. I bring extensive experience working with children and families across primary schools, early intervention as well as community health settings. 

I believe strongly in the value of early and targeted support, and am committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every child and family that I work with. I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Speech Pathology. 

Together, we created The Speech Collab. to be a warm, collaborative space where children feel supported, families feel heard and progress is celebrated. We believe strongly in working closely with families, educators, other professionals and children to build confidence, communication and a lifelong love of learning.
